In Jewish tradition, before eating bread, it is customary to wash ones hands, three times the right hand and then three times the left hand, and make the blessing of "…….al netilat yadayim". This washing ritual is preformed in preparation for eating bread at the start of a meal, waking up in the morning, and before the start of prayers.
Hadad washing cups come in different sizes, all of which have two handles, to facilitate passing from one had to the other. All are made from 925 sterling silver, and are gold plated on the interior of the cup.
