The Mezuzah is a scroll of parchment containing selected biblical passages which is traditionally affixed to the doorposts of the Jewish home. The custom is derived from the biblical commandment to "write them upon the doorposts of your house and in your gates" (Deut. 6:9, 11:20), and starts with the prayer Shema Israel ("Hear, O Israel!"). The mezuzah must be written by a qualified Scribe on parchment, it is rolled and put into a case which is then attached to the doorpost.

Hadad mezuzahs are made from 925 sterling silver and come in sizes starting from 9 cm and up. A most beautiful way of fulfilling this very important mizvah.
